A Regeneration Study for Dawlish Town Centre and The Wider Parish
Over the past few months LHC, in partnership with Dawlish Town Council and Teignbridge District Council, have undertaken a study to look at how Dawlish and the wider parish can be regenerated over the coming years. Proposals have been drawn up that will help to focus attention on raising quality, generating greater civic pride and building on the diverse assets of the area.
This study is identified in the Corporate Plan under ‘Goal 1 – Prosperity’. Objective 1.1 of this Goal is to “Ensure that in spatial planning residential development is supported by economic development and involve local communities in formulating these plans”. In partnership with the local community TDC have worked with LHC to prepare a regeneration study which identified opportunities for enhancing the Dawlish area.
